Privacy Policy

Shabel Enterprises, Ltd. ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through senterprises.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Information you provide. When you submit our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and any other details you choose to share (such as company, phone, and your message).
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage data — such as pages visited, referring site, browser/device type, and IP address — through our own privacy-respecting, cookieless, self-hosted analytics (a Matomo instance we run on our own infrastructure) — first-party data that stays on our infrastructure, is not shared with advertising networks, and sets no tracking cookies.
• Bot protection on our forms. Our contact and notification forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. To perform that check, Turnstile receives your IP address and basic signals about your browser. Cloudflare processes this as our service provider under its Turnstile Privacy Addendum. We do not receive or store your IP address from this check — we are told only whether the check passed.
• Cookies. We use only the essential cookies required for the Site to function. Our analytics are cookieless and set no analytics or advertising cookies. Your analytics opt-out choice is stored in your browser’s local storage on this device, not in a cookie. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

What Happens to a Form Submission

When you submit our contact or notification form, we email it to ourselves and nothing more. There is no database, no customer-relationship system, and no marketing platform behind these forms. The submission is delivered by Microsoft Azure Communication Services (data residency: United States) to a Shabel Enterprises mailbox hosted on Google Workspace, and it lives there for as long as we keep the email. Our servers do not store it, and our application logs record only that a submission succeeded or failed — never your name, email address, phone number, company, or message text.

That email also notes which page of the Site you sent it from, and when — so we can tell a note sent from a service page apart from one sent after reading something we published. It records nothing about where you were before you reached that page. This is written into the email itself; it does not create a database, and everything in the paragraph above still applies.

How We Use Information

We use the information to respond to your inquiries, provide and improve our services and the Site, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and communicate with you, and only as needed to perform those services, or when required by law. They are:

• PikaPods — website hosting and content delivery.
• Cloudflare — DNS, and proxying for parts of the Site.
• Cloudflare — the Turnstile bot check described above.
• Microsoft Azure — the service that receives form submissions and the Communication Services that email them to us.
• Google Workspace — the mailbox those emails are delivered to.

We do not sell or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or advertising networks.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. For analytics specifically, we retain detailed activity data for 18 months and aggregated report data for 7 years, after which it is deleted. Long-term monthly and yearly summaries may be kept beyond that period in aggregate form only — they contain no IP addresses and no individual activity records.

Your Choices and Rights

You can opt out of analytics at any time, and we honor three separate signals. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control (GPC), or sends "Do Not Track", or you use the opt-out switch below, our analytics script is never loaded at all — no request is made and nothing, including your IP address, is ever sent to our analytics server. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as valid opt-out requests under applicable US state privacy laws. Your switch setting is stored in your browser's local storage on this device rather than in a cookie, so clearing site data resets it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing privacy@senterprises.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our Publication, and Third-Party Links

Our publication, Weaving Intelligence, is published by Shabel Enterprises, Ltd. — the same operator as this Site, not a third party. It runs subscriptions and email of its own, so it carries its own privacy policy; read it there for what that involves. Links between the two properties normally carry a campaign tag, so we can tell which writing brought you across. The link in this paragraph does not: a link you follow to check a legal claim should not be tagged.

The Site may also link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies separately.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
